Chief Compliance Officer

Bill brings a wealth of experience to the key leadership role of General Counsel for Gold Star, including a 10 year history of litigation as well as critical lending industry expertise. Considered an industry pioneer in digital transactions, Bill is credited with launching United Wholesale Mortgage’s virtual e-close platform which completed our industry’s first ever fully digital, remote e-closing. Bill is also well-versed in risk mitigation, regulatory governance and compliance in advertising and marketing.

A graduate of the University of Michigan as well as the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Bill resides in Plymouth, MI with his wife Amy and their two daughters.
